Who will know that the creative flower decors & outstanding DLC Summons are protecting the ancient knowledge all times?
Hello, my reader. Welcome to my analysis about Final Fantasy VII Remake and this time I will reveal the special secrets of all flower decorations and the certain specific summons that we can see these arts in ch8, part 1 of FF7R. I can say for now that this post might reveal the connection of your favorite characters too, maybe.
Before I will start…
Before you will read this post, I strongly recommend you play FF7 Remake, before proceeding.
- Please read Attention page first, to let you understand that my works are not 100% right.
- Spoilers up ahead.
- Therefore, I recommend you explore FF7 game series, movie, anime, novels, and etc.
- My English sucks, such, sub.
The chapter that I am going to write is ch8 – Budding Bodyguard that I am amazed at everything in Sector 5. I mean, it’s totally different from Sector 5 I know in OG and Crisis Core.
The born of another florist.
And one of the scenes is the scene when Cloud & Aerith are picking flowers (Cloud, EX-SOLDIER!, first class!, pick flowers. Then he should be FLORIST!, Aerith’s trainee! lol).
That scene is refreshing, I don’t know the beautiful scene or their moment makes me feel like that. Both, I guess. Anyway, Aerith and her assistant will pick flowers as you should among three flowers and deliver them to the leaf house. This is their job asked by Housemother of that place.
3 and 3?
Although Clerith’s moment at that time is cute, I didn’t see anything suspicious until I saw all three flower arrangements at that place. Those flower decors are the works with flowers that they collected. Chocobo, Moogle, or Cactuar, huh? The art of decors is up to the player who chose any three flowers to pick and can pick three times.
- Chocobo = 3 yellow flowers or 1 yellow flower + 2 other flowers.
- Moogle = 3 White flowers.
- Cactuar = 3 Foxtails.
While I was looking at those three decorations and recalling those 3 flowers…, these 3 and 3 objects activated the alarm in my head, made me suspect that if it is possible that there are any meanings behind these things. That’s why I started the investigation.
Lead to the connection with 3 summons.
Since the art of flower arrangements are Chocobo, Moogle, and Cactuar, those arts reminded me of these three cuties! ⇓
And these are my notices ⇓
- two of these DLC Summons are like Chocobo and Cactuar flower decorations.
- Although Carbuncle is not Moogle, they have the same colors [white and red] significantly.
And lead to another connection with another three.
When I was connecting my memories, [Chocobo, Moogle, Cactuar], [Chocobo Chick, Carbuncle, Cactuar], and [Yellow Flower, White Flower, Foxtail] that have the same color pattern [Yellow, White, Green] together, this network guided me to the next destination or these cool characters. ⇓
The connection between DLC Summons and 3 characters.
I would not doubt the connection between Cloud, Chocobo flower decor, and Chocobo Chicks so I will focus on other pairs. I will start with Aerith and Carbuncle first.
While I was watching how this super cute Carbuncle fights, this white dog assists the party with magics that focus on protection and his ultimate attack, Diamond Dazzle (Heals and revives all party members). …Which characters among three characters has her/his fighting style like Carbuncle’s the most?
YB: English vocabulary today, Healing Wind is not Highwind.
Not only that, while I was looking at Carbuncle’s powers, those words also reminded me of these colors. ⇓
- Ruby (red)
- Nacre (white)
- Emerald (green)
These colors of Carbuncle’s powers that are the names of jewels, these jewels point at a certain specific girl significantly or not? Eh?
Moreover, these colors connect to some T-things that I might write about them if I have free time.
The next turn is finding the connection between Tifa and Cactuar.
Actually, the first character who I ever thought that s/he has some connection with this Summon is not Tifa but when I gathered [Cloud/Aerith/and that character] to the consideration…, I thought it’s strange because why this assumption has no the important character like Tifa but has Cloud and Aerith?
So I tested my new assumption as the experiment, “find the connection about Tifa and Cactuar” or this is my bias. Correct or not, that’s why I explored Cactuar’s info. Here’s its description and how it fights.
A cactus with legs that loves to run hither and thither. Watch out for its thorns!
After I witnessed its speed and 1,000 Nood-, umm, Needles, I realized that thorns can be considered as “sting like a bee”, as a strong boxer. Tifa’s fighting style and her unbelievable speed in Remake (my jaw dropped, super cool!), become the connection with Cactuar who is famous for its signature attacks (1,000/10,000 Needles) and that annoying speed (in other FF games).
…Grrrr. This reminded me of the old day when the party encountered those green tea, umm, green trees, and was KO tragically. lol
Anyway, now I have the assumption that Cloud/Aerith/Tifa are the answers to those flower decors and DLC Summons. But this is not the end yet since I tested if this result is possible. And I think Cloud, Aerith, Tifa fans should not miss the info below.
Do you remember when Cloud chooses three flowers? Aerith will say something different and I want to tell you that her explanations for each flower are interesting more than I could imagine. If I need to make a list, it would be like this. ⇓
- Foxtail ⇒ Tifa
- White Flower ⇒ Aerith
- Yellow Flower ⇒ Cloud
Let me start with Foxtail first.
If Cloud picks Foxtail…
Aerith: Whoa, Foxtail, huh? I gotta hand it to you, I never would’ve thought of that. It’ll definitely take them by surprise.
Since one of my assumptions is Foxtail decoration hides the truth that is Tifa’s. Aerith’s opinion above is about the future of Tifa, Aerith, and even Cloud or their truth in the final part of this Remake series. If I need to explain more detail, after I observed this Part 1, I feel that Aerith gotta hand “it” to her friend. “It” in this case might be not the flower but someone. Of course, this is still my own personal opinion so I hope to present more clues in the future.
Of course that just Aerith’s opinion about Foxtail (Eng sub) is not enough to conclude this and I can feel strongly that the word or the flower name, Foxtail can be the trap that made me misunderstand that this is the story about this flower. But if you check Jap sub, there are interesting but vague truth about Aerith and Tifa over there and it’s not about Foxtail anymore although it can be TLed as Foxtail grass. I hope I will write Aerith’s comment when Cloud picks this green grass (Jap sub) in the future so we can connect both subs to the final conclusion. Or if you don’t want to wait my update, I recommend to find the clue in that sub and collect both subs to the analyzing to find out more about Aerith and Tifa.
I’m not sure the meaning of “them”. Maybe a character or Tifa and Cloud or/and even people like us? Anyway, I believe that Aerith is telling the truth definitely because some people are hiding these truths behind her opinions, and behind this collecting flowers as another layer. What is this, the firewall?
If Cloud picks White Flower…
Aerith: Good eye. People used to give these to declare their loyalty to one another. Interesting, right?
I will tell you that we need to watch out what I underline. Declare their loyalty to one another. I recommend you to not believe the word “people” as the direct meaning if we are exploring the deeper level because I notice that this game uses the thing to explain another thing. So this is not people but another pronoun (I will leave the answer to your imagination but for me who am seeking the hidden truths of Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa via flowers and etc., Aerith is the secret of this flower).
With this factor, we need to change the word “their” to the consistent meaning with “that pronoun” too. With these two factors, I will let you guess the meaning of “one another”. Who will declare her/his loyalty to who? Interesting, right?
If Cloud picks Yellow Flower…
Of course, that Yellow flower means reunion but let’s see how things will be in this investigation. In this case, my assumption is Cloud is the answer to Yellow Flower decoration, Chocobo, and Chocobo Chick. So let’s see Aerith’s explanation. After I analyzed this, I can say that this description of Aerith is the most difficult. You will see why I think like this. ⇓
Aerith: That’s the one I gave you.
Cloud: Huh, it is?
Aerith: Nice try, mister. You can’t fool me.
If you read my two analyses about FFVII Remake already, you will see the truths on the deeper level that is not in the story level (if you didn’t read them yet, you can find the links below of this post). As the story level, Aerith is talking about the yellow flower she gave him when they met for the first time. And her comment toward Cloud’s response would make us imagine that she thinks he pretends to forget that she gave him this flower.
But at the deeper level, the hidden truth behind their conversation above is completely different because I am going to show you the truth between Cloud and Aerith. Please look at the third line of the quote. ⇓
Aerith: Nice try, mister. You can’t fool me.
Since I looked at their talk as the deeper layer, I will say that “Nice try” in this case, doesn’t mean Cloud is trying to deceive her or something but her opinion reflects “Nice effort of Cloud in this Remake story”. If this random assumption of mine is correct, “You can’t fool me.” means she witnessed his effort in this game/story or something similar. She is an Ancient so… if she is the eyewitness, see his attempt with her own eyes, how can she not know about his truth or his effort? I will let this imagination spreads through your mind.
I am amazed by this labyrinth of words. Designing “Aerith caught that Cloud fooled her about the flower.” to hide the different truth. …Whoa. To sum it up, this is the truth between Aerith and Cloud. ^ ^
However, I felt that the first line of this quote is not consistent with my assumption toward the third line so I explored Jap dub and tried to find some clues. It appears that Jap and Eng dubs are so interesting although they are not the same in some lines. So I hope I have the chance to write about how things are in Aerith & Cloud’ flower delivery. Surprising things like “bombs” for Clerith fans.
And yeah! Please don’t forget that I want to check if my assumptions (Cloud/Aerith/Tifa) are the answers to decorations and summons. My job or this discovery toward them would end here (or not?) and these final answers are the ancient secrets that flower decors and summons protect this knowledge all times. Here’s the gallery.
Beautiful, adorable, and cool, right?
However, I never tell that characters are other elements such as Cloud is Chocobo or Aerith is Carbuncle but I believe that those elements can reflect some hidden truths about them. In the future, there are more elements that can do the same thing so I will show you when the time has come. Also, I recommend you to not believe my analysis completely because it’s possible that my work can be wrong so please explore the reliable reference such as Remake game.
It’s time some questions for FF7 fans. You can pick more than one answer.
- Which flower do you like?
- Which DLC Summon do you want the most?
- What is your favorite flower decoration?
- Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, who wins your heart?
The game of the planet is going to come.
The next dish will connect to these awesome characters but they are presented by a new perspective but the same place. So stay tuned! ♥
