Hello, my lovely reader. If you read the previous part of these Reflections of Oregairu – Genuine, End Girl, The Final Story, Their Past, & More., now I will explain more truths via the reflections of characters (especially, Isshiki Iroha (一色 いろは)). The next truths I will be writing is the event is in anime Zoku ep4, during the double date in the shopping mall, Hikigaya Hachiman (比企谷 八幡) and co. meet someone who arrives at this place to shopping. But this kouhai is the strongest one and a certain author summoned her to point at something so important. This post will reveal what it is.
If you didn’t read my post series (Ep3) yet, I super recommend you read it first since this post will not explain why I am searching the truths from Iroha’s story. And you will be confused about how the genuine, the final story, etc. will have a connection with her story. So I will leave the post link here.
At this point, I will believe you already read my post Ep3. In this post (Ep4), I will describe the reflections of Irohasu’s story via a certain event in anime ss2 ep4 or LN v8.
Ep 4
During the double date event (Zoku ep4), Iroha meets Hachiman and co. so she approaches a senpai instantly! I notice the situation of all people (Iroha/Hachiman/Hayama Hayato (葉山 隼人)/Orimoto Kaori(折本 かおり)/Nakamachi Chika(仲町 千佳)) at this time, is so similar with the situation of people (Yukinoshita Haruno (雪ノ下 陽乃)/Hachiman/Hayama/Orimoto/Nakamachi) during the doughnut cafe in ep3… So I will explain their likeness to find Haruno’s truth.
Someone is jealous of Orimoto.
Since the certain junior’s actions and so many questions about her senpai and other girls, please don’t believe his TL because he doesn’t know the fiery feeling of that person at all. Haruno’s jealous can be described via this kouhai. Imagine when Haruno doesn’t wear her cheerful mask and does the same thing as Iroha to Hachiman…, you will know how she feels after Orimoto revealed he confessed to her. Since Haruno can maintain her cheerful image but her eyes betray her. Feel free to read LN v8, don’t watch ep3 to check if she feels as I explain for real.

When I did, my face descended to just about Isshiki’s height. Isshiki, who was right next to me, made a perky smile. Her lightly pink, shaking lips began to move.
Iroha: “But really, who is that woman (Orimoto)? Ah! Your girlfriend perhaps? Eh, but wait, there’re two of them… How are they related, hmm?”

Iroha: “Next time we meet senpai, please fill me in on the details, okay~.”
Me: 555555
“Her shaking lips” tell me how “that person” is feeling at that time, and kouhai doesn’t blink her eyes, scary! Ah, but Haruno shuts her eyes in anime so we can’t see “her true eyes”. Anyway, v8 is awesome!!
It’s possible someone is jealous of Hachiman. (Not HayaxHachi, Ebina-san)
This is possible this also reflects how Hayama feels like that to Hachiman because his crush is looking for him. When you see Hayama tries to stop his kouhai to not bother Hachiman, if I bring the variable, “Haruno” to this equation, its result will be totally different. Imagine when his crush is approaching another guy, what should he do? It’s the same with what happened during the school cultural festival in v6.

However, I am not sure if WW wants to show the jealous feeling of Hayama via this reflection too. But what I can tell you is I believe Haruno is jealous via Iroha’s actions (well, pulls Hachiman like that).
Another notice that I found out later that I don’t want you to miss about this issue is about Tobe. For this event, you would see he and Iroha were shopping but they met Hachiman and co. Later, you would see Tobe is worried his kouhai is going to …disturb his friend and company so he tries to …take her to continue shopping. At first, I thought that their actions are normal. But after I found out about Iroha’s action toward Hachiman, I felt that …Tobe is acting weird, he acts as if he doesn’t want her to be near that guy. At this point, you know what I am going to say, right?
So I rechecked Tobe’s story in anime season2 ep4-5 and other eps. Now I will say that in this ep4, during the shopping event, his actions in the beginning until the end, reflect someone’s truths. In this case, I will let images tell you. ⇓
If you still don’t understand, I want you to focus at Tobe who is the reflection of his friend, Hayama.
- In the first image, I want you to look at how he stays close with his kouhai, Iroha in the first image. If you switch Tobe ⇒ Hayama and Iroha ⇒ Haruno, this reflects how Hayama (wants to) stays close to her.
- In the second image, Tobe’s panic reflects how Hayama also feels the same because his crush looks for another guy.
- In the third image, you will see how Tobe tries to take his troublesome kouhai away from this group, or I should say, from that guy. This also reflects Hayama’s attempt or wish toward Haruno. Remove her from that guy!!
- In the last image, end of Tobe’s presentation.
See? If you don’t believe me that some of Tobe’s story can reflect Hayama’s truths, it’s fine. But in the future, you will see more of these. In this ep5, I recommend you to watch this ep so you will see Tobe’s worry in another point of view that I presented clearer than these four images. Personally, I am impressed with WW’s attempt to tell the hidden truths of many characters via many characters. This also confirms that my theory about “Y” of Hayama is not wrong.
If Hayama’s expression (that was created to not be shown clearly so people will not notice) and Tobe’s expression (that was created to be shown clearly but people don’t know the origin of that panic feeling) become one, HayaxTobe, umm, the true feeling of Hayama toward that person will appear.
Actually, these moments also reflect how Haruno feels to Hayama by looking at Iroha in these images.
Haruno’s deep desire toward this double date because she wants to… with Hachiman.
I Can’t Believe that girl Wants to … With him!?
In ep4, Haruno is the one who supported “hanging out” idea and forc-, umm, convinced Hachiman to join. But her deepest wish which would occur latterly is… If you want to reach when she shows this desire, read this post or LN v8 (you can’t find any answer in anime).
ps. Too bad Haruno doesn’t do “that” for real or else she would not encounter the calamity of that double deat-, date. 2W will not make things easy. It is much more interesting to see how she will do something to this dating group and hang out with Hachiman.
The Conclusion of Haruno’s Plan (Operation Fire Doughnut) & The TRUTH(s) behind Hayama’s Sacrifice for Hachiman. (Part 1)
To witness the calamity of the double date, you need to read the beginning of Hayama’s “multidimensional plan” until the last part.
Hayama: “Iroha, sorry. I actually had him come with me.”
Iroha: “Aaah, so that’s how it is~. Ah, I’m actually about to go somewhere too, would you like to go together?”
Me: LOL My side…
Well, at first I thought this is another joke but I realize it’s not a normal joke. Look at the red color speech above, Iroha wants to go with them. I want to explain to you that her desire this time also reflects what Haruno wants as well. If you already read one of my posts that I pasted it above, “I can’t believe this girl wants to… with him!?”, you will find the connection between Iroha’s words and Haruno’s hidden desire. If you reach this point, I will assume that you already read my post already so I can explain that Iroha’s red words above, reflects Haruno’s wish, “to do something”. I am not sure what is “do something” of her but if I dig deep to her desire, I will reveal that she wants to hang out with a certain person and if we consider her words during she and Hachiman is talking in a cafe near the meeting point before he needs to go with Hayama’s group (LN v8), it means she also thinks to do something that we can guess that she wants to go together with this dating group (if we use Irohasu’s suggestion as the reference) or etc. but I believe she wants to do something so she can hang out with that person. I don’t need to tell you who, do I?
Another hidden desire
Anyway, Iroha-chan doesn’t forget to leave the last time b**b to her senpai. Before she will leave, she turns to Hachiman, waves her hand and says…
Iroha: “Next time we meet senpai, please fill me in on the details, okay~.”
Hachiman: Ah, nevermind, I wasn’t free from her after all. She’ll definitely make me spill the
beans the next time we meet…
At first, I didn’t notice that even this point has some meaning. But after I find the connection between Haruno and Iroha to find Haruno’s truth and check Iroha’s story in the future ep in anime, this point or Iroha’s words above connects with some events in her story in the future. I mean, if you check Iroha’s events in the future (after this ep4), you will notice there are many times Iroha “is interested” about Hachiman and Orimoto. If you can wait, I will write about this in the future. But I don’t think you should wait because you can check about this issue in her story. It is very easy to find them. If you find them and connect them with this event (Irohasu’s story in ep4), you will find Haruno’s feeling and even her future actions toward “HachixKaori”.
The love triangle?
The situation between Hachiman, Haruno, and Hayama during the fire doughnut event and even what happens in the shopping mall as I explained above, can confirm the love triangle between YH/HH/HH totally.
ps. But! If I only consider the circle between Hachiman, Haruno, and Hayama, this must be the love triangle definitely. But if I “expand” the circle by including everyone to this consideration, I think the love triangle is doubtful instead, this will be more than the love triangle! It’s the love hexagon!
Who will think Hayama’s opinion at that time revealed the truth about that person!?
The conversation between Hayama and Hachiman is so interesting because Hayama seems to explain about Iroha but let’s see the reflection of his opinion.
Hayama: “…It’s not like she only does it with me, but (Haruno) meets with a lot of people and she tends to want to show off her (perfect) side. I’m sure she thinks that she has a certain image of herself she has to protect. I’m sure she wants to be loved. That’s why it’s rare for her to show off her honest side (negative emotion) like that.”
His opinion is like the conclusion of the previous event which describes “that person” which is hidden in his kouhai’s actions. Negative emotion I mentioned above is “jealous” of that person but WW still maintains his writing skill to cover Irohasu’s expression to not show that emotion clearly.
If my assumption is correct, Hayama’s opinion this time is similar with that scene, his last opinion during the donut event (anime ss2 ep3) that he explained how that person feels for two people (Hachiman and himself), people she likes, and the people she hates significantly. ⇓ I think these two scenes are similar because Hayama describes the truths about that person. Although I feel that his opinion during the doughnut event mixes with his suffering because Haruno’s action at that time (throw him to hang out with other girls) is like rejecting his feeling for her as well.
Since the shopping mall event (when Iroha passes) and the doughnut cafe event are really similar, I start to suspect WW wants to use Iroha’s scene to show the truth during the donut cafe event (the love triangle between Hachiman, Haruno, and Hayama) or not…, this is my question toward WW’s objective. I mean, the shopping mall (Iroha’s scene) is like the sign to “point” to the important events that are similar to it (the doughnut scene and the scene when Haruno and Hachiman are talking in the cafe before the date will begin). Since I found that truth before find this sign in this shopping mall event (Iroha) so I… didn’t do as this sensei might intend but Iroha’s scene at the shopping mall confirm my two mega analyzing projects (how Haruno is jealous of Orimoto and how Hayama is jealous of Hachiman) that are Haruno’s operation fire doughnut and the multidimensional plan of Hayama…
This cold war is not cold at all.
How Wx2 builds this situation.
Tobe: “Alrighty! Irohasu, let’s head to the Lions Sports store!”
Iroha: “Ah, that’s fine. That store’s primarily for baseball anyway.”
Tobe: “Eh?”
Me: LOLOL
I love how WW created this situation so Irohasu can cause trouble. And after WW’s presentation ended, she shoots Tobe-senpai’s idea like that. Tobe, Otsukaresama desu! I start to understand why he rushed Hayama to appeal.
That aside, “Lions Sports” that Iroha and Tobe are talking… Is there some meaning behind these words or not? The competition between the lions!!
Total Mental Damage: 2,000,000 (The third eye of Iroha is so powerful & every damage she delivered to three boys are so forceful!)
After I reviewed LN v8-9, I notice that another character is very interested. Since I am searching the character’s truth via another character’s truth, I also notice that person’s story explains another person’s story as well. I think if I have free time, I will write about this character especially later although I don’t think I will write about her/him sooner or later. To tell you the truth, I never think I will write about this person before since I didn’t think s/he will has some hidden truths. 2W is so sly!! I can’t believe and I am sure you will be surprised for sure. Oh! And you can guess which character I mention. Of course, I don’t mean Iroha and Hachiman.
Who is that character?
The loops of the chasms within the service club
In the previous post, I ever mentioned about the consistent of two chasms between Hachiman, Yukinoshita Yukino (雪ノ下 雪乃), and Yuigahama Yui (由比ヶ浜 結衣) in anime Zoku ep2 and 12.
So in this post or ep4, I will show you how these two events are similar more than I ever thought.
Of course there are the different points between these moments, such as [Yuigahama in ep4 wants to protect the club] but [Yuigahama in ep12 wants everything that is not every single things]. That’s why I doubt if I am choosing the correct method until I found a check point from another girl that is Yuigahama. I will show you that check point by comparing Yuigahama’s desire after the school in ep4 and her deep desire in ep13.
Basically, if you review her words in ep4, you will see what Hachiman learns from her. After I checked ep4, I understand that these two events or her desires are not different and another pair, Yukino’s desires to be distant from the service club between these eps, are not different.
That’s why I saw the check points between 4 events in ep4 and ep13.
In my reflections post (Ep3), you saw the similarity between Iroha and Haruno and found that Hikigaya Komachi (比企谷 小町)‘s story and Iroha’s story can reflect Haruno’s truth. Parallel worlds or “loops” don’t mean to be the same path but there are some points that need to be consistent. And now in this post or ep4, I showed you the emotions of three people in the love triangle and the consistence between the situations within the service club. So I will say that all info in ep3-4 are “loops” that someone incredible created them. It’s not easy to design these constructions because it’s easier to be confused with the overlap between each round. And if you checked my previous post and this post, you will see it’s not only Haruno’s route but the trio too… What I want to know is Haruno’s truth via Iroha but I found something unbelievable along the way.
After the dark, the light shines at him.
In the last scene of ep4, Hachiman is sitting or I should say he is sinking in the sofa after he realized 2YY decide to participate the student president election that it means the chasm in the club will be becoming the permanent chasm. The dark in the living room makes me feel his feeling at that time until “the light” because of someone is entering the room. When he looks at that direction, he meets his younger sister, Komachi. It seems she is still upset at him but insists to walk to that room. What will happen next?
If you already read my previous post, you would know that I believe Komachi’s story can reflect Haruno’s truth. And in ep12, Haruno starts to have a fight with him and they don’t still reconcile although we have LN v14. So this will lead to the next stage. ⇓

considering how the LN ended, i guess season 3 is gonna end the same way huh. i do wish that haruno will become the genuine and end girl as a twist. Hoping that part 3 will quench ma thirst for more haruno. love your analysis.
